The member of the european parlament Jens Nilsson initiated in 1996 European Network of Cities and Regions for the Social Economy. Today his idea is prioritized within the union to strengthen us to threats in war, climate and democracy. Greece already with rolemodel in practice in Touristregion of Peloponnese where many small entrepreneurs work together in a social economy, keeping ancient trails open. By the foot of the mountains, we find Kalogria beach – the very cradle of Zorba the greek, put down in words by his friend Kazantzakis. In this unique geography you find a familyowned camping just above, and an authentic greek kitchen just by the waves. Waves carrying the warm sea and the cold water straight from the mountains together in a unique experience.
In january 2026 this unique place was visualised in a briliant ideogram by artist Vasiliki Kateri, and in a mural of the two gigants, by artistcollegue Skitsofrenis in Stoupa.
